My Second choice would be P/T 1x or 2x stock. Cheaper but may have to replace in the future. Edit : My 1st and a half choice would be C-De(X)terior ply-wood. More expensive; but better strenth. Fist choice wold be an "Exotic" (rain forest) wood. Most expensive; may require pre-drilling holes HEAVY but lasts like (1800's) iron = less re-decking.

This year I need to replace the bunks on my 17' tracker but I'm going to use untreated 2x4's as there is always a danger of having a place where the carpet gets torn or something and me not knowing it If the bunks are really easy to replace I would stay away from treated wood on an aluminum boat.

Lumber Choices for Trailer Decking

If wood is kept dry it will not decay. A wood like gum is too weak compared to the others. Hickory does not have enough decay resistance.
